Taos named after the historic New Mexico town renowned for its distinctive Southwestern arts and craftsmanship, the design draws its character from the combination of earthy brown wood and vivid turquoise tones. The result blends traditional natural materials with a bold contemporary profile. 

The substantial D2 Tool Steel blade features a broad, sweeping profile with a pronounced belly and finely defined bevels. Its satin finish provides a restrained contrast to the more decorative character of the handle.

Handle:

The sculpted handle combines rosewood and turquoise-coloured gemstone, with gemstone sections positioned at both ends of the handle and around the forward transition.

Fine dark spacers and polished stainless steel fittings separate the materials, highlighting the contrast between the deep brown figuring of the rosewood and the turquoise surface with its distinctive dark veining.

Blade:

The D2 Tool Steel blade has a broad, sweeping profile with a pronounced curved cutting edge and tapered point. Carefully defined bevels and a smooth satin finish emphasize its substantial proportions and clean handmade construction.
