This impressive 17-inch full-tang custom knife combines substantial construction with the exceptional durability and stability of Micarta. Designed and individually handmade to provide years and years of dependable practical use, it is far more than simply a display piece—it is strongly and substantially built to perform, with the durability and craftsmanship required to serve for many years and eventually be passed on to future generations as an heirloom.
The substantial 11.20-inch blade is crafted from prestigious, high-strength D2 tool steel and given an excellent heat treatment for outstanding strength, edge holding, and edge retention. Measuring approximately 5 mm thick, the blade features expertly executed hand grinds on both sides, while the upper side incorporates a carefully formed false edge that complements its bold custom profile. Its full-tang construction provides excellent strength and solidity throughout the knife.
The rock-solid handle is fitted with gorgeous Micarta scales, a material particularly valued for its strength, dimensional stability, durability, and secure feel in the hand. The scales are firmly secured to the full tang with brass pins and strong epoxy for long-lasting durability. Stainless steel bolsters complete the handle, adding strength, balance, and an attractive contrast to the Micarta while giving the knife a clean and refined finish.

You are also welcome to provide sketches or reference photographs to help explain the details you would like incorporated into your knife. We will do our utmost to bring your vision to life, and if a particular request is not practical or possible, we will suggest the closest suitable alternative.
