The impressive 16.15-inch blade is crafted from prestigious, high-strength D2 tool steel and given an excellent heat treatment for outstanding strength, hardness, edge holding, and edge retention. Measuring approximately 5.75 mm thick, the substantial blade features expertly executed hand grinds on both sides, while the upper side incorporates a carefully formed false edge that accentuates its classic large Bowie profile. One of the most distinctive features of this knife is its mirror-polished brass spine, which creates a striking visual contrast with the steel blade and gives the Bowie an unmistakable custom appearance.
The gorgeous laminated exotic wood handle beautifully complements the scale and character of the knife. Carefully shaped to provide a comfortable and secure grip, the laminated construction produces attractive layers of colour and grain while providing excellent stability and durability. Completing the handle are a substantial stainless steel guard and butt cap finished with an elegant black powder coating. Their dark finish contrasts beautifully with both the laminated wood and mirror-polished brass spine, giving this impressive Bowie a particularly bold and distinctive appearance.
