The imposing 19.85-inch blade is crafted from prestigious, high-strength D2 tool steel and features intricate decorative engraving that transforms the expansive blade into a striking piece of functional art. The steel is given an excellent heat treatment for outstanding strength, edge holding, and edge retention. Measuring approximately 5.50 mm thick, the substantial blade features expertly executed hand grinds on both sides, while the upper side incorporates a carefully formed false edge that complements the dramatic proportions and classic Bowie character.
The substantial handle combines traditional stacked leather with gorgeous natural bull horn, creating an impressive contrast of texture, colour, and character while providing a comfortable and secure grip. Completing the design are an intricately hand-forged Damascus steel guard and butt cap. Their distinctive forged patterns beautifully complement the engraved blade and richly textured handle, reinforcing the exceptional handcrafted character of this extraordinary Bowie.
