The imposing 17.40-inch blade is crafted from prestigious D2 tool steel and given an excellent heat treatment for outstanding strength, edge holding, and edge retention. Measuring approximately 5 mm thick, the substantial blade features expertly executed hand grinds on both sides, with both edges carefully honed to a sharp finish. Combined with its full-tang construction, the long D2 blade gives this remarkable knife an exceptionally solid and purposeful character.
The rock-solid handle is fitted with gorgeous Micarta scales, providing excellent durability, stability, and a secure, comfortable grip. The scales are firmly secured to the full tang using contrasting brass and silver-coloured pins together with strong epoxy for long-lasting durability. The combination of Micarta, exposed full-tang construction, and contrasting metal pins gives the handle a clean yet distinctive handcrafted appearance while complementing the substantial proportions of the blade.
